Firstly, all goods pass Customs in the regime IM-31 (temporary import) under the guaranty of coming-out, Customs dues - 0.15% goods' cost.

The exception is printed material (brochures, catalogues, etc.) and souvenirs (pendants, pens, etc.) which pass Customs in the regime IM-40 (ultimate import) with Customs dues 0.15% goods' cost + 20% value-added tax.

Besides, certain goods, such as food, cosmetics, perfume, etc. pass Customs in the regime IM-40 (ultimate import). Customs decides in every particular case whether to apply "ultimate import" status to a certain quantity of goods. "Ultimate import" status requires obligational certification of goods. In order to acquire full information about the goods' quantity and necessary certificates we advise you send your invoices or simply the bill of goods as early as possible.

When the exhibition is over temporary imported goods could remain within the limits of Russian Federation ONLY on condition of signed contract between the seller/exhibitor and the resident legal entity, which would register mentioned contract in Customs and pay all Customs' dues. This procedure is carried out only through "ExpoWestTrans" warehouse.

Selling or presenting this property is strongly forbidden.
In case of lacking the signed contract temporary imported property must be exported with the end of exhibition.!!!

"ExpoWestTrans" as any other russian company can guarantee to provide the regime of temporary import to the Customs. In case of breaking the Customs rules by the exhibitor (goods' misregistration, e.g.) "ExpoWestTrans" bears responsibility to the Customs and pays penalty provision.

Regarding this, "EWT" ask exhibitor for financial guarantee of temporary import. This could be a deposit or bank guarantee in amount based on the control value of the imported goods.

To decide whether you need a deposit or bank guarantee we advise you to send us invoices beforehand.

"EWT" can guarantee quick passing the Customs on conditions that all transfer documentation and invoices/packing lists are rightly drawn up, that freight comes in due time, and that advanced payment is on account.

Jewels and jewelry are registered at the special Customs facility. This requires special documentation, and besides, the registration procedure is complicated and time-taking. That's why we must have the bill of goods not later than 1,5-2 months prior to the beginning of the exhibition.
